‘Sugar Rush’ was yanked off Nigerian cinemas, actor and singer cum politician, Banky W penned down an earnest note to movie lovers and fans of the movie.
After the movie,According to sources, the movie was allegedly yanked off Nigerian cinemas for ‘depicting’ the operations of EFCC in a relatively ‘poor way’.
However, reacting to the outrage, NFVCB in a statement on its Facebook page signed by Alhaji Adedayo Thomas, Executive Director said, ‘Sugar Rush’ was suspended in cinemas because the temporary approval given for the movie exhibition has expired.
Reacting to the ban, Banky W, who expressed hope that the movie will be back to cinemas, wrote:
‘If you saw @sugarrushmovie and loved it, or if you planned to, please read our statements. We are very hopeful and optimistic that the film will be back on screens in a few days, so please don’t give up on us, and please stay optimistic with us.
