In recent times, the Nigerian Police Force has made it way to the news for very unethical reasons and overly human rights violation. There have been numerous cries for a retraining of the men of the Nigerian Police Force, for obvious reasons, one of which is the harassment of innocent citizens in the country.
Recently, Popular singer, Terry Apala was captured in a video making the rounds online being harassed and stripped by men of the Nigeria Police Force in Lekki, Lagos.
The Omidan crooner was filmed getting out of his car after he was flagged down by the men of the police force. One of the policemen in the video ordered that the singer should be searched thoroughly and his trouser was removed in the process.
It appears it has become somewhat of a norm in Nigeria for police officials to harass the youth simply because of their mode of dressing.
