Mixed reactions as actress Ozioma Okere dishes out relationship advice to married couples

It takes a lot of work to make a marriage work, some virtues like trust, understanding and maintaining a good friendship with one’s spouse can easily come to mind.

While some people have no qualms with who their partner keeps as a friend, Ozioma Okere believes otherwise. The Nollywood actress recently took to the Twitter platform to state that it is disrespectful to one’s spouse to keep friends of the opposite gender.

“Having a close friend of the opposite sex is outright disrespect for your spouse even if nothing is happening.”, she tweeted.

The post which has since gone viral online, was welcomed with mixed reactions from social media users.

While some people believed there shouldn’t be an issue as long as there is trust in a marriage, others disagreed with her post entirely.
