A wheelbarrow pusher has died in Enugu state in the process of trying to refresh himself with some fresh fruits.
The middle age man who was unconscious of his proximity to an electric wire picked up a metallic rod to pluck mango fruits from a tree whose branches were in contact with a PHCN pole. His actions became tragic when the rod made contact with a tension wire on the pole.
The man was confirmed dead on the spot as passers-by visit the scene in a bid to rescue him. As at the time of filling this report, the victim is yet to be identified by name.
The sad incident reportedly happened along Enugu Road, within Nsukka area of the state.
