This was contained in a statement released by the State Secretary to the Government, Usman Alhaji on Monday, March 9.

Reacting to the dethronement, Nigerians who have been following the crisis between Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II have expressed their thoughts on it.
Some Nigerians opined that Ganduje was allegedly caught receiving bribes and as such he has no moral justification to dethrone Sanusi.
