COZA under fire for going ahead with Sunday Services regardless of ban on gatherings

Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Abuja has come under fire for declaring that they’ll go ahead with their Sunday Services regardless of the ban on gatherings.

Recall that the Federal Ministry of Education ordered the immediate closure of tertiatry institutions, seconday and primary schools nationwide. According to the ministry, the move is to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the country.

COZA has seemingly gone against the order as the senior pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo gave directives for service to hold in Abuja.

According to the church, they got the permission from FCT minister….

“Following a directive from the FCT Administration, please be informed that service would hold tomorrow, 22nd March, 2020 by 7:30am @Evelyn Centre and 9am at The COZA AUDITORIUM, Guzape Hills , Asokoro Extension, Abuja . 1) Electronic thermometers will be used (2) There will be alcohol based sanitizers ( 3) There will a considerable space between the worshippers. (4) The Air flow systems are effective . ( 5) The blood of Jesus puts the enemy ( pestilence) at bay. #FearNot”. The church announced online.

However Nigerians have descended on them for going against the directive…
