Just like fellow singer, Runtown, Yemi Alade is set to dole out cash gifts to fans to buy food items and stock up amidst shutdown caused by COVID-19.
The recent shut down of some certain markets has caused people to panic. People are short of funds to buy foodstuffs to sustain them for the next 7 days and just like her many colleagues in the industry, Yemi has offered to help people in such situations with funds to get them through.
Recall that Nigerian singer, Douglas Jack Agu, better known by his stage name Runtown earlier announced that he will be giving out 10 million naira to Nigerians who have no money to stock up as complete lockdown looms.
Hours later, “Shekere” singer , Yemi Alade did the same, as she took to her Twitter page to reveal that she has been getting messages from her fans asking for help.
According to her, numerous fans have sent in account numbers and she has promised to give back to as many as possible.
She wrote: “The amount of account numbers I am seeing, you would think I was a bank. I will do my best to give randomly to as many as I can. ?”
