Nigeria leader, President Muhammadu Buhari will make a broadcast to the nation today at 7pm.
This was contained in a press statement released by the State House which was signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
This is coming days after prominent Nigerians have called out the President to address the citizens of the nation as a result of grief and tension caused by the deadly disease, Coronavirus.
There were speculations that President Buhari also tested positive for Covid-19, alongside with his Chief of staff, Abba Kyari have been transported to Europe for treatment after mild symptoms which posed threat to their lives.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, it was stated that television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.
Recall that many prominent Nigerians, the main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party and popular Australian Islamic scholar popularly known as Imam of Peace have slammed the President for not addressing Nigerians at this moment of grief and tension.
