As Nigerians continue to observe the stay at home order, due to the contagious coronavirus, Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has joined the growing number of celebrities who are crying out over the poor rate of power supply as several Nigerians are at home.
Mercy, a single mother of two is lamenting that the current power situation is very depressing and causing Nigerians more harm.
She wrote, “Update on today’s episode of ‘STAY AT HOME’….. Current Situation no Power still! God what sort of a country is this? This situation just compounds the already frustrating situation!!!!!! I don run Gen sotay, diesel don nearly finish ….. If I am in this state , I just cannot imagine what’s going on with people who are not as lucky …. This is just Depressing! How are we going to cope with this Lock Down! Make I see any yeye PHCN official bring bill come my doorstep after this whole phase passes! Msheeeeew! …. This is so unfair!”
This is coming after President Muhammadu Buhari while addressing the nation on Sunday evening announced complete lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun for the next two weeks.
The measure, he said is to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), said to have been linked to persons who have travelled from these centres. Buhari said inter state and intercity movements are restricted to prevent further spread.
