Photos of a woman identified as Magdalene Namazzi begging police officers not to confiscate one Joseph Muwanga’s motorcycle after he was found carrying her and her sick child to hospital amid lockdown have surfaced online.
These photos posted by Uganda’s New Vision show the woman begging the officers to allow them to leave as they were not defying the President’s lockdown directives intentionally.
Namazzi said it was the easiest means of rushing the sick child to hospital, to save her life.
Police later returned the motorcycle to the rider.
