COVID-19: There’s need for 'urgent' spiritual approach, Prophet Ekong Ituen tells FG

The Federal Government has been urged by a popular Nigerian Cleric, His Grace, Prophet Ekong Ituen, to include prayers in its effort in curtailing and eradicating Covid-19 because the ultimate solution lies in God’s hands.

Ituen, who had earlier predicted and warned Nigerians to pray against a plague that will be worst than Ebola-virus in future, stated this in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.

According to the Cleric, we need God more than anything now, we need to seek the face of God for divine intervention through prayers for the healing of our land as commanded in 2Chronicles7:14. “If my people who are called by my Name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and Heal their Land.”

He advised the Federal Government to urgently organize a Solemn Assembly with the Vessels of God who are spiritually inclined with proven integrity in attendance because when Israelites were in distress, they cried unto God through Prophet Moses and God delivered them. He said, he has been contacted by the Host Heaven for this divine assignment because there is no problem without solution, and the solution lies in the hands of God through His Prophets.

In line with the view, The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith, Bishop David Oyedepo has urged Federal Government to start consulting with the Prophets who have proofs. “It’s time for Authorities to start consulting with Prophets that have proofs. The kings of those days were smart enough to know the Prophets.”

Prophet Ituen, a known Seer who is blessed with a gift of Revelation, further admonished the children of God not to panic nor dismay because Coronavirus will not last long as it will disappear the same way it came through prayers. He assured them that, no matter the forces responsible, Covid-19 will become a forgotten thing in Nigeria.
