Update: Nigerian lady put up for sale online by a Lebanese man has been rescued (video)

Days after a Lebanese national identified as Wael Jerro allegedly putting up a Nigerian lady for sale, the 30-year-old Nigerian lady identified as Busari Peace has been rescued.

This development was shared on Twitter by Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa on Tuesday April 28.

Dabiri-Erewa said the Peace is currently at the Nigerian High Commission in  Beirut.

”Update on Nigerian girl put up for sale by a Lebanese, Wael Jerro on Facebook. She has been rescued and safely with officials of the Nigerian Mission in Beirut. More updates later” she wrote

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that an Instagram user, @thereneebisaad has called out a Lebanese national for allegedly putting up a Nigerian lady for sale in Lebanon.

It was learnt that Wael Jerro placed a $1,000 price tag on the Nigerian lady identified Busari Peace Ufuoma in a closed group on Facebook ‘Buy and Sell in Lebanon’.
