At least one person has been reported dead in a fire outbreak that occurred at Obalende, Lagos State on Friday.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency told newsmen that one person had died.
The petrol tanker caught fire near an Oando filling station at Obalende.
This is coming exactly Four days after fire broke out at a petrol station in Ogba area of Lagos State, a petrol tanker burst into flame.
The tanker belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was reported to have tipped before it caught fire.
Eyewitness account disclosed that the fire is raging beneath the Obalende Bridge, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Adding that before firefighters arrived the scene, extensive damage has been caused the under side of the bridge from the intense heat of the fire.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency who spoke to newsmen disclosed that one person died, adding that many people secured varying degrees of injuries.
