Popular actress Tonto Charity Dikeh who has been in the news of late for feeding thousands of Nigerians have been ignored by Nigerian celebrities.

Nigerian celebrities are known for encouraging themselves and supporting each other in their comment sections but they have gone silent as the mother of one continues to feed Police officers, soldiers, other security personnel and other Nigerians.

The mother of one since the lockdown has been going out to gift Nigerians with bags of rice, oil, noodles, eggs, bread, water, money and more through her foundation, The Tonto Dikeh Foundation.

It is a known thing that these celebrities go to their colleagues pages to hail them for a job well done in times like these, but Tonto Dikeh’s comment section as at the time of writing this report is only filled with prayers and blessings from her fans, well wishers and others. Except for her bestie Bobrisky, Nigerian celebrities, have deserted her page and are ignoring it like a plague. Not even a “Well done, God bless you” is seen from any of them.

Does this mean she is at war with ALL of them? Or are they avoiding it so as not to be called out by Nigerians for not doing theirs too?

Sharing photos from her recent outing, the light skinned script interpreter wrote:

“Today, the Tonto Dikeh Foundation’s team visited security checkpoints in the city of Abuja donating relief packages to security officials and paramilitaries — The Police, Civil Defense, Road Safety Officers, ETC, as a token of appreciation and encouragement to them for their service in the face of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

In times like this, these security officials leave their families and risk their lives on bloody highways, notorious crannies of the city to ensure that the lockdown is effective, and make sure that we are safe.

This is indeed a show of noble service and they deserve to be appreciated and encouraged as we keep up with the fight against this horrendous pandemic.

The Tonto Dikeh Foundation is dedicated to providing any needed support to join the world in this battle against Covid-19, and hopefully, we shall win.”
