Chief Of Army Staff, Buratai reportedly loses mother in Borno

The Chief of Army Staff in Nigeria, Tukur Buratai reportedly lost his mother identified as Kakah Hajja on Tuesday.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the late Hajja died after a brief illness at her home in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

According to Sahara Reporters, a source said that “Yes I can confirm to you that she’s dead”.

“She passed away this evening and will be buried tomorrow morning by 8am. May her soul rest in peace.”

As at the time of reportage, both the Nigerian Army or Borno State Government have not confirmed the death of Kakah Hajia.

Buratai is presently in his native Borno State where he is overseeing Nigeria Military’s effort to defeat Boko Haram jihadists.
