Kano state on Sunday discharged 10 more COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in its isolation centres.
With the new patients, the number of those successfully managed and discharged in the state stands at 32.
Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, who announced this in a statement, said that the patients have fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings and are to reunite with the society.
He said the state has also recorded three deaths, which bring the number of fatalities from the dreaded disease to 21.
Garba explained that Kano has so far carried out tests on 2, 072 cases for COVID-19 in its test centres.
The commissioner, according to the statement, urged citizens to maintain high personal hygiene by ensuring regular hand washing with soap and preferably running water, use of face masks and strict observance of social distancing as part of strategy to curb coronavirus.
Similarly, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Six COVID-19 patients have been discharged in Borno.
They were discharged after recovering from the virus and testing negative twice.
