Coming after he made the rounds for demolishing two hotels that violated the lockdown rule, Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike has done the unthinkable.
Wike took to the boarder of Abia state and Rivers state to mount a giant gate, in order to enforce inter-state travel ban.
The gate is made of iron bars and rail.

Two hotels in Rivers state have been pulled down on the orders of the state government for allegedly violating the lockdown directives issued recently by Governor Nyesom Wike. The governor had imposed a lockdown in two local government areas of the state and directed all hotels in the area to suspend services immediately as parts of measures to check the spread of COVID-19.
He warned residents that failure to comply with the order would attract instant demolition. On Sunday, May 10, photos on social media showed the governor personally supervising the demolition of one of the hotels.
