In a video making the rounds on social media, a yet to be identified official of the Lagos State Management Authority (LASTMA) has been allegedly beaten to coma by some security operatives; soldiers and mobile police combined in the state.

In the video that is fast going viral, the man could be seen laying unconscious on the ground while surrounded by some security operatives and an FRSC official who was attempting to revive the LASTMA official, with the help of a civilian while the security operatives stood by. At some point, the man who was stylishly filming; presumably a colleague to the unconscious LASTMA official was threatened by a security operative who vowed to deal with him if he filmed the incident, he was later confronted by the security operative, forcing him to stop the filming.

As at the time of filing this report, WITHIN NIGERIA is yet to ascertain the contention between the unconscious LASTMA official and the security operatives who put him in coma. The security operatives are yet to be identified and we hear the LASTMA official is currently receiving treatment at Apapa general hospital.
