BREAKING: 6 years after, court sentences Ese Oruru’s abductor to 26 years in prison

Six years after a teenager identified as Eze Oruru was reportedly abducted and transported to Kano state where she was forced into marriage by one Yinusa Dahiru, the Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State has delivered the long-awaited judgement.

The accused identified as Yinusa Dahiru has been sentenced to 26 years in prison by a competent court in a case presided over by Justice Jane Inyang.

Justice Jane acquitted Dahiru on Count one but jailed him five years (count two), seven years (count three) seven years (count four) and seven years, count five.

Accroding to the judge, the sentences would run concurrently.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that the father of one of the children rescued in Anambra State has narrated how his son was kidnapped.

“When the police told me they were going to Onitsha in search of missing children, I never thought the investigation would yield any results concerning my son,” Muhammad Ali said.
