Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun, who was unable to organise a physical party as a result of interstate lockdown and social distancing had a virtual thanksgiving service for his 60th birthday on May 29 in his home with his wife and children in attendance.
Families, friends, associates, and members of his government participated remotely. Dignitaries that attended the virtual service from their different locations include the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Aliko Dangote, Pastor Adeboye, senior religious leaders, former President, incumbent and former Governors, and others.

In other news, after several extensions, the Ogun State Government has eased the lockdown order pronounced on the state, since the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic to combat the spread of the disease from Monday to Friday.
This was contained in the address of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Thursday, while updating the efforts of his administration in containing the virus.
