VIDEO: Nigerian doctor recounts how police officers rescued a baby girl dumped inside a dustbin

A tale of how police officers rescued a newborn baby girl who was dumped inside a dustbin and reportedly rushed her to the hospital has been narrated by a Nigerian doctor.

According to Bright Oris, the police officers attached to the Niger state police command, heard the cry of a baby in the dustbin and traced her.

The police officers immediately rushed the baby to the hospital to recieve medical attention.

While narrating the incident via his social media page, Dr. Oris disclosed that the baby girl is doing fine.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that 22-year-old lady identified as Olufunmilola Adisa who drowned her baby in Lagos on May 11 has been taken to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) for psychiatric evaluation on the order of an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.

Recall that WITHIN NIGERIA had reported how a 22-year-old lady identified as Olufunmilola turned herself to the police after she drowned her 21 months old child in a bucket of water in the apartment she shared with her older sister in Gowon estate in Lagos.
