President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, joined the State House Juma’at congregational service.
This was sequel to the reopening of the Villa mosque which has been closed for some time, in line with the Federal Capital City protocols on the reopening of worship centres.
Buhari was joined by his immediate family and a few aides.
All those who participated in the prayer were thoroughly screened and had wear a mask each as well as sanitize their hands, as safety measures.
Social distancing was also strictly observed in line with guidelines on public gathering.
Recall that the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 had recently begun the implementation of the new ease of lockdown guidelines approved by the president in an effort to gradually reopen the economy and as well keep an eye on the containment of coronavirus in the country.
These guidelines include the reopening of worships places with limited attendance and duration of service.
