Video: Family demands justice for son who was killed in a hotel in Sapele

A bereaved family has taken to social media to demand justice after their son died under unclear circumstances in a hotel in Sapele, Delta State.

And according to reports, the management of the hotel identified as De stone hotel otiti, sapele, Delta State, refused to release CCTV footage for investigation following the death of their brother who died at the hotel.

A member of the family who narrated how they were allegedly assaulted and chased away by the police, after they went to report the case, shared photos as they took to the streets to stage a peaceful protest.

Narrating the incident, he wrote;

“My brother died at De stone hotel otiti sapele and the hotel is still functioning, the hotel refused to show us the CCTV footage.. My family and I were chased out of sapele main station this morning by sapele police force

They threaten to arrest my family and I

No single arrest made , hotel still functioning 100%

No meaningful investigation from the police

We have no idea what killed my brother
Who paid for the mortuary fee ?
Why was he taken to the mortuary without the consent of the family ?
