Nigerian musician, Lagbaja has reacted to the ongoing rape saga in the country.
60-year-old afrobeat veteran, Lagbaja took to his Instagram page this morning, to condemn rape and also noted that there are consequences for those who have committed the act in the past.
The renowned singer shared a post, which read:
‘MY SILENCE IS NO, MY NO IS NO, MY BODY IS MINE, MY LIFE IS MINE’ and then wrote: ‘Hmmmm, I can’t believe in this 2020 people still do evil things like this. It is wrong, it is WRONG. If you did it in the past it would hunt your future, smh!.’
In related development, Miss Seyitan Babatayo, a Nigerian lady accused singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known by his stage namerape on December 30, 2018, she was arrested, denied any legal representation since her arrest but later released at Sodipo Police station, Ikeja.
