The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.
The decision to dissolve the ruling party national working committee was reached at the National Executive Council meeting held on Thursday at the Executive Council chambers of the State House in Abuja.
The dissolution of the committee followed the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, it was learnt.
Bashir Ahmad who is an aide to President Muhammadu Buhari disclosed the information via tweet on his official Twitter page.
“Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.”
Yobe Governor, Mai-Mala Buni, was named Chairman caretaker/extra-ordinary convention committee.
The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami immediately sworn in Mai-Mala Buni.
