No fewer than 11 coronavirus patients have been discharged by the Osun State on Sunday from its Treatment and Isolation Centre.
This was contained in a statement released by the Health Commissioner, Dr. Rafiu Isamotu.
The commissioner announced that the discovery of four new COVID-19 cases in the State.
While appealing to residents to always observe all precautionary measures laid down by the state against spread of the virus, Isamotu noted the cases were contacts of previous cases in the state.
He also added that with the latest development, the number of confirmed cases in the State as at July 19 stand at 339 with 175 active cases.
In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that the Osun State Government on Wednesday announced the discovery of Thirty seven (37) new coronavirus cases.
This is the highest number of confirmed cases the State has recorded in 24 hours, making the active cases 172.
