More gubernatorial aspirants under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state have announced withdrawal from the race for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
These aspirants reportedly withdrawal from the race barely few hours to the commencement of the primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This is coming barely 12 hours after one Engineer Ifeoluwa Oyedele became the first aspirant to step down for the Governor.
Amongst other aspirants who announced their withdrawal from the race for Akeredolu include Dr. Olusegun Abraham, Jimi Odimayo and Dr. Nath Adojutelegan.
They said they withdrew from the race to move the party forward.

This revelation was made by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu while denying allegations that he was responsible for the action taken by the police against his Deputy, Hon. Agboola Ajayi on Saturday night.
