A woman who was recently caught stealing cassava from a farm in Nkwedi village of Ohafia local government area of Abia state have been paraded.
The lady got more than she bargained for as she was paraded round the village with what she stole.
According to a Facebook user, Endurance Kalu who shared the story wrote, the owner of the farm had struggled to cultivate the farm, only for the woman to come and steal it all.
He wrote;
“A vibrant married lady without disability was caught stealing cassava from someone farm who also struggle to cultivate the farm.
She was made to carry the cassava on her head and was paraded round the village as she has to bear the heavy pain on her neck and shame of her act..
Is the villagers right or wrong for such jungle justice??”
The incident happened at Nkwedi village, Ohafia local government, Abia state.
In other news, a 30-year-old man who raped about 40 different women in a community within a year was recently arrested by the Kano State Police Command.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Abdullahi Haruna.
Confirming the arrest, DSP Haruna said one Mohammed of Kwanar Dangora village confessed his victims were young girls, married and old women. Read more here.
