Many people who have read about the divorce between Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister and Precious Chikwendu, a former beauty queen would probably think that the mother of four is the first woman Femi Fani-Kayode would divorced.
The former Aviation Minister and his embattled wife, Precious Chikwendu got married in 2014 weeks after the ex-beauty queen participated in a beauty contest sponsored by United Nations.
According to findings, Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Aviation Minister has had three other marriages in the past which collpased before the fourth one and all indicated or alleged domestic violence.
FIRST WIFE
Findings revealed that the first woman who got married to Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Aviation Minister was Saratu Attah. It was gathered that both got married when Femi Fani-Kayode was 22 years old. The marriage lasted between 1987 and 1990 but they had a daughter together.
SECOND WIFE:
Research revealed that the second woman who got married to the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode was Yemisi Olasunbo Adeniji. The second wife who later remarried after she divorced the former Aviation Minister is now known as Yemisi Wada.
It was gathered that Femi Fani-Kayode married Yemisi Olasunbo Adeniji immediately she finished at the law school in 1991. The marriage collapsed after three years and Yemisi was reportedly with the couple’s third child before the separation.
Recall that Yemisi Olasunbo now Yemisi Wada revealed in an interview with Punch (2015) that she had no fond memories of the marriage.
“I have no fond memories of then except having my daughters, as I am sure he would say the same if asked. What people do not seem to realise is that we were together for only a very short while. The marriage itself lasted less than three years. The fact that I have three daughters makes it seem longer but I left just when I was pregnant with my youngest daughter”.
THIRD WIFE:
Findings revealed that the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode also got married to another woman identified as Regina Amonoo in 1997. WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that Femi Fani-Kayode married the woman in Ghana during the regime of General Sani Abacha.
Femi Fani-Kayode did not tie the nuptial knots again until 2014 when he met Precious Chikwendu and now they are no more together as couple.
