Police in Delhi, India have arrested an alleged Nigerian drug peddler with expired visa on Sunday, September 20 for being in possession of 250 grams of cocaine valued at 20 lakh seized from his possession.
According to report, the yet-to-be identified suspect was apprehended from the New Delhi Railway Station by the Railway Unit of the Delhi Police.
A police officer identified as Harendra Singh said the suspect had been ”visiting Delhi from Bengaluru to supply drugs in rave parties.”
He disclosed that a fake American drivers licence was also found in his possession.
Police have registered the case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act) and 14 Foreigners Act.
