Barely 72-hours after Boko Haram terrorists attacked the convoy of Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, on Friday September 25, along Cross Kauwa-Baga road in the State, footage of policemen, soldiers and Civilian Joint Task Force operatives recovering the remains of their colleagues has emerged online.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Zulum’s convoy was attacked twice recently. First incident on Friday claimed 30 lives including 12 policemen, five soldiers, four members of a government-backed militia, and nine civilians. Second incident which recorded no death but had security operatives left with minor injuries happened on Sunday morning, barely 24 hours after the first attack.

In a 6-minutes video obtained by WITHIN NIGERIA, security operatives were seen counting the dead bodies of their colleagues shortly after the attack as the recover their remains.

The gory video showed victims’ bodies scattered in a nearby bush where a long convoy conveying the security operatives had parked.
