President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, October 7 presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The commencement of the meeting which is being held at the Executive Council Chambers was confirmed by the president’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, in a post on his Twitter account a few moments ago, Within Nigeria reports.
He tweeted; “The weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting currently being presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Chambers, the State House, Abuja.”

Recently, President Muhammadu Buhari called on Nigerians to be patient with any law in the country that they have apprehension about the outcome.
Speaking at the opening of the two-day joint executive-legislative leadership retreat with the theme, ‘Promoting effective executive-legislative partnership, finding a middle ground’, held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, the president urged aggrieved Nigerians to always “engage the process in line with democratic practices,” adding that the process of law-making and governance was dynamic and evolving.
Within Nigeria understands that the president made the call while responding to the outcry of Nigerians who demanded #EndSARS.
