Atiku Abubakar, former vice-president, met with the reconciliation committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday.
Atiku disclosed in a tweet that the discourse at meeting was on how to strengthen the party.
He said that the meeting was “fruitful”, adding that he shared his vision for reviving the party with the delegation led by Bala Mohammed, governor of Bauchi state.
“I just finished meeting with Gov @SenBalaMohammed-led PDP reconciliation committee on how to strengthen our party. The meeting was fruitful and I shared with the delegation my vision of rejuvenating the @OfficialPDPNig,” Atiku wrote.

The committee had, earlier in September, met with Ibrahim Babangida, former head of state.
Mohammed had told journalists that the meeting with Babangida was to strategise on how to move the party forward.
The governor said the delegation was set up by the party’s national working committee (NWC) to see how the PDP can maximise the gains it has made in recent elections in Bayelsa and Edo.
