Officials of the Ogun State Parking Management (OGSPAM) have allegedly assaulted a man identified as Chief Adeleke Olubajo on Monday October 12.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the man parked his vehicle along Isale-Igbein in Abeokuta while “waiting for someone to get him something by the roadside” before he was accused of parking wrongly by the officials.
This act led to an altercation and the man was allegedly beaten mercilessly by the officials who reportedly fled the scene, leaving their patrol vehicle behind to avoid being lynched by the crowd which gathered.
According to the report, the victim who drove himself to the area in white native attire, was seen on the floor with a singlet and a short.
Policemen from Ibara police station arrived at the scene, and took the unconscious man to safety.
