The Lekki Concession Company (LCC) has tendered a video footage recorded by its surveillance camera on the night of October 20, 2020 to the Lagos judicial panel on #EndSARS. However, Abayomi Omomuwansa, the managing director of LCC who made the submission of the footage to the panel on Tuesday said the cameras stopped working from 8pm on the night of the shooting at the Lekki tollgate.

Abayomi said the footage captured events of what happened on October 20, 2020 at the Lekki tollgate.

“I can confirm that inside here is the video footage that our surveillance camera was able to record for the 20th of October,

“I can confirm categorically that we never ever tampered with that surveillance cameras. That’s why we can still get the footage. Until 8 o’clock when it was tampered with and we couldn’t get any footage anymore,” he said.
