Petroleum storage tank on fire in Apapa, Lagos (VIDEO)

A Petroleum storage tank at one of the depots in Marine beach, Apapa area of Lagos State is currently on fire.

According to eyewitness account, the inferno occurred Thursday afternoon.

The Petroleum storage tank reportedly belongs to Oando Plc.

As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the inferno was still sketchy.

However, emergency responders like the Federal Fire Service and NIMASA FIRE Services have been mobilized and were sighted at the scene trying to contain the incident.

The Lagos State emergency response agencies as at press time was yet to give a detailed report on the incident.
