A former national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, and some other leaders of the party from the South-West on Friday met with the President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting was held behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Party chiefs who joined Akande at the meeting with the President included a former governor of Ogun State, Chief Segun Osoba; Tajudeen Olusi; and Dr. Abayomi Finnih.
The President’s guests however didn’t address State House correspondents at the end of the meeting.
Also, as of the time of filing this report, the Presidency has yet to issue a press statement on the meeting.
