Emerging report has revealed that the sack of Ibrahim Magu, a police commissioner as the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been recommended by the Justice Ayo Salami panel.
The panel which submitted its report to President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday also requested the president to appoint the new EFCC chairman in an interim position for two years.
The panel also recommended that President Buhari should also look outside the police force in appointing the next chairman.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that the report of the presidential panel probing the suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Comission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has been recieved by President Muhammadu Buhari.
This report was recieved by the president at the council chamber of the presidential villa in Abuja on Friday.
