5G is evil and its demonic agenda is unfolding, says Fani-Kayode as he throws weight behind Dino Melaye

A Federal High Court in Abuja has rejected an application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to have a former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode arrested.

Justice John Tsoho refused the request on Wednesday following an application by EFCC counsel Mohammed Abubakar.

The EFCC had, on November 11, 2016, arraigned Fani-Kayode on five counts including alleged diversion of N26m, which he allegedly received from the then NSA, Sambo Dasuki, to pay for an unspecified contract.

The anti graft agency had asked the court to order Mr Fani-Kayode’s arrest after the ex-minister missed his trial.

The application was opposed by Fani-Kayode’s lawyer Wale Balogun who tendered a medical report dated November 24, 2020, advising the former minister to observe some bed rest.

Fani-Kayode was arraigned on November 11, 2016.

The case has been adjourned till February 23 and 24.
