US rapper Soulja Boy has been sued by his former assistant, for allegedly raping her during the time she was working for him.

The woman, identified herself as “Jane Doe,” filed a legal complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court against the Atlanta-bred rapper on Thursday January 21.

She alleged that she was raped by the rapper, held her and wasn’t paid by the rapper. The woman started working for the rapper around December of 2018.

She also claimed that the 30- year-old artist, wanted her to be readily available to cook, clean, chauffeur and also to perform personal assistant duties at all time. He also agreed to pay the woman $500 a week for her services, but required her undivided attention for 20 hours a day and seven days a week.

The unidentified woman also claimed that the rapper often sent her explicit photos and that they established a brief consensual relationship, which later turned abusive due to jealousy.

She states that she was repeatedly in the head on 10 separate occasions and that she was threatened to physically harm her and that she once lasted consciousness.

In 2019, Soulja was alleged to have sexually assaulted the woman for the first time. After this incident took place, she revealed that the rapper expressed remorse and offered her $1,000 but that the abuse continued.

According to her, when she tried to leave, she was locked up for three days in her room with hot water until she stopped wishing to leave.

She said she fled after she regained consciousness with out taking her belongings but also claimed she was raped again after she came to retrieve her belongings but was denied access to his home and that she wasn’t paid for 18 months for working for the artist.

Neama Rahmani, the woman’s attorney, said in a statement, “Way’s treatment of our client, as an employee and as a person who deserves respect, has traumatized and filled her with fear. His abuse imprisoned her physically, mentally and emotionally. When she mustered the courage to flee, he impoverished her. His exploitation severely hampered our client’s ability to re-establish herself in the workplace and in society. We believe he should be held accountable.”

The lawsuit was filed a year-and-a-half after Soulja Boy releases from jail nearly five months early in 2019.
