On Sunday, Nollywood actor, Adewale Alebiosu stepped forward to support his colleagues who received criticism for seeking financial assistance online.
The Ogun-born actor also narrated his personal encounters with certain colleagues who deserted him during his own moments of need.
He also highlighted the criticism faced by some Veteran actors who reached out to the public for help, emphasizing that such criticism should cease.
Recall that WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that a few weeks after, veteran actress, Iya Gbonkan, solicited help, and many Nigerians came through for her with money, car and house gifts, and other actors like Pariolodo, Lalude, Baba Alapini, and many others acted likewise.

On Tueday,a renowned gospel singer, Tope Alabi reacted to the controversy trailing her viral video where she was heard singing in Yoruba language using the word ‘Aboru Aboye’, a form of greeting among Ifa initiates.
In her song, Alabi referred to herself as ‘ebo,’ meaning sacrifice in English, and sang, “Abiye ni mi, Oruko mi ni yen. Mo de bo, mo ru, mo ye,” which translates to “I am a sacrifice, that’s my name. I am a sacrifice accepted by God, that’s my name.”
