    BBNaija season 5 4th runner up, Emuobonuvie “Neo” Akpofure has addressed the issue of him washing Vee’s pant while in the house.

    According to the 27 year old, he did not wash Vee’s pant, he only helped her rinse it. Within Nigeria recalls that the 27 year old’s attempt to wash a his lover’s pant stirred up lots of controversies on social media and while some people saw nothing bad in what he did, other people were totally against it.

    “I no wash the pant, i rinse am,”  Neo said

    During the live prize presentation today, 30th of September on DSTV channel 198, the Managing Director of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe disclosed that BBNaija seasn 5 received over 900 million votes.

    According to Ugbe, this season of Big Brother broke records and made history. He mentioned that the number of votes that was received from the reality show is well over 900 million. Ugbe also promised to make more revelations on how people voted.

    Within Nigeria recalls that Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe won this year’s edition of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show after polling the highest votes of the five housemates that made the grand finale.

    Laycon’s N85 million worth of prizes includes N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment; a top of the range SUV; a trip to Dublin; home appliances, another trip to Dubai; a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and many other gifts from sponsors of the reality show.

    Veteran Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has reacted to BBNaija housemate, Ozo and Nengi’s relationship while on the reality show. Taking to twitter to share his opinion, the 38 year old mentioned that Ozo is not a real man, hence the reason he was persistent on dating Nengi.

    In his words;

    “Real men don’t pester women… Real men respect women and respect themselves too… If she says yes you roll, if she says no a real man walks away… No pestering…Ahead ahead… A real man has a lot on his mind, no be to dey think only woman….Real men respect everyone but fear no one.”

    BBNaija disqualified housemate, Ngozi “Erica” Nlewedim has finally broken her silence since she left the reality show. Addressing the issue of how she felt about getting disqualified on the show, the 26 year old actress described her behaviour as a shameful one.

    According to Erica, she was shocked about her disqualification and she was very sad about it. Erica added that she did not know how to face her families and friends after her disqualification from the show. The actress disclosed that she was wowed by the amount of love she got from her fans and she questioned why people love her regardless of how she misbehaved in the house.

    Within Nigeria recalls that the model was disqualified for breaking the house rules, bullying, provocation and engaging with the production crew.

    ‘I am still shocked’ – Laycon finally speaks on winning BBNaija

    BBNaija season 5 winner, Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe has finally broken his silence since his victory on the 27th of September. Speaking in an interview with Ebuka, the 27 year old mentioned that he is still shocked about him emerging as the winner of the reality show.

    According to the 26 year old, he did not go for the reality show to win. He went for fame because of his music career and he his still in shock, finding it hard to believe that he won the show.

    When asked if he felt intimidated by the housemates, the graduate of philosophy from the University of Lagos said he questioned himself several times that what was he doing in the house. Laycon added that it took time for the housemates to connect and be friends with him.

    While BBNaija lockdown housemates are presently celebrating Laycon for emerging winner of the season, disqualified housemate, Erica has refused to acknowledge and congratulate him the rapper on his win.

    Within Nigeria recalls that Laycon and Erica were best of friends until their relationship went sour after the he revealed his intentions about having feelings for Erica. Unfortunately, the quarrel between the two friends led to Erica’s disqualification from the ongoing reality show.

    Although few days ago, the 26 year old graduate of phylosophy from the University of Lagos, indirectly reached out to Erica during a task Big Brother gave them. The task which was about making peace with people got the housemates emotional and made them reach out to those they are not on good terms with.

    The management of the just concluded BBNaija season 5 winner, Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe has opened up on the reasons why they did not want the 26 year old to go for the reality show. Taking to Instagram to acknowledge and appreciate everyone that voted for the rapper to win the show, the management revealed that despite all the warning and advice given to Laycon not to go for the show, he refused to listen to them.

    According to the management, Laycon is not the kind of person that is fit enough for a reality show because he does not drink, neither does he smoke, his physique, his reserved personality, among other things.

    The  graduate of philosophy from the University of Lagos however insisted on going for the show, not because of the money involved but because he wanted fame and this he believed will help his carrier as a musician.

    BBNaija 2020: Vee becomes the first housemate to be evicted from the final 5

    BBNaija 2020 housemate, Victoria “Vee” Adeyele has been announced as the next housemate to be evicted from the show. The 24 year old who made it to the top 5 housemates of the season was the first to be evicted tonight, the grand finale.

    For those who do not know, Vee is a musician based in Lagos, Nigeria. She is affectionately known, was born and raised in London and moved to Lagos almost a year ago to begin her music career where she has already made great strides.

    As 2020 Lockdown edition of popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija officially comes to an end today, September 27, here is the full list of mouth-watering prizes the winner will cart home.

    The show started on July 19 with 20 contestants with 14 housemates evicted and one disqualified, leaving Laycon, Nengi, Dorathy, Vee and Neo as finalists.

    According to organisers, MultiChoice Nigeria, the winner of the season 5 edition will be going home with N85 million worth of prizes.

    The breakdown of the grand prize is as follows;

    N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost.

    Others are a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it, and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller, trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
