Enugu Govt. promises to restore city recreation parks to original state

Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has promised residents that his administration will restore the state’s recreation parks to their original condition.
Ugwunayi made the promise while visiting some tainted state government parks in the state capital.
He stated that his administration is determined to restore them to their original state, comparable to the newly established Enugu Unity Park, located adjacent to Michael Okpara Square in Independence Layout, Enugu.
Gov. Ugwuanyi visited the newly remodeled Eze and Onwudiwe parks in Uwani, as well as the Ejindu Park and Coal Camp.

The governor also went to Ude Ubaka Park, which is located on Agbani Road in Enugu and has been illegally converted into churches, residential areas, and automobile workshops.
He made funds available for grass cutting and other obstruction removal at Eze, Onwudiwe, and Ejindu parks.
Ugwuanyi stated that the state government will follow the proper procedures to restore Ude Ubaka Park to its original condition.
He assured residents that the facilities would be put to good use as soon as possible.
Ugwuanyi was accompanied by the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr Ugoing to Ibe, and a major stakeholder in the state, Mr Gary Eneh, when he visited the parks.
Mr Monday Eneh and Mr Emeka Onunze, the Chairmen of Enugu South and Enugu North Local Government Areas, were also present.
