President Muhammadu Buhari is now preside over a virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the Presidential Villa’s freshly renovated Council Chamber in Abuja.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha, and Chief of Staff to the President Prof. Ibrahim Gambari are all present at the weekly meeting.
Other attendees include the Federation’s Head of Civil Service, Folashade Yemi-Esan, and various cabinet members.
Cabinet members physically present during the meeting were Ministers of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, Aviation, Hadi Sirika, and Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
Maigari Dingyadi is the Minister of Police Affairs; Abubakar Aliyu is the Minister of Power; and Babatunde Fashola is the Minister of Works and Housing.
Other Ministers are participating virtually from their various Abuja offices, and presentations are expected from the Ministries of Communications and Digital Economy, Aviation, Police Affairs, Works, and the Office of the Head of Civil Service.
