The ISO 27001: 2013 certificate for information security, the leading international standard governing information security management, has been awarded to ARM Holding Company.
Ms Jumoke Ogundare, the Group’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, announced this in a statement issued on Friday after receiving the certificate in Lagos.
According to Ogundare, obtaining the certificate solidified ARM’s commitment to consistently employing world standards in the protection of clients’ data.
“This is a significant milestone for us at ARM.” As we all know, the world has changed, and digital technology adoption has become the norm.
“However, we also know that cybercrime is more prevalent than ever.” As a result, “our ability to provide our clients with confidence in the security of their data is especially important,” she said.
Ogundare thanked Digital Encode representatives for the rewarding partnership and support ARM has received from the company.
Dr. Obadare Adewale, Co-Founder/Chief Visionary Officer of Digital Encode System, who moderated the presentation, commended ARM on its commitment to acquiring and delivering world-class information protection protocols.
“ARM’s leadership has demonstrated to the world their commitment to information security management by acquiring the international ISO 27001 standard,” Adewole said.
Mr Gozie Alozieuwa, ARM’s Chief Risk Officer, stated, “This is important because the primary asset ARM manages is financial information, and this certification reiterates our commitment to adopting international standards in keeping this information safe and secure.”
