Mr Danladi Jatau, a former Nasarawa State House of Assembly Minority Leader, has assured the All Progressives Congress (APC) that he is ready to mobilize support for the party after 2023.
Jatau represents the Kokona West constituency after defecting from the PDP to the APC.
When he led Eggon APC stakeholders in Kokona Local Government Area on a courtesy visit to Dr John Mamman, the state APC Chairman, he pledged his support.
Jatau, who also serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Complaints, Petitions, and Security, stated that the visit was made to assure the party leadership of their continued support for Gov. Abdullahi Sule and the APC in the state beyond 2023.
“As you can see, Sir, this is the Eggon APC community in the state’s Kokona Local Government Area.”
“We are here to assure you that we will continue to support His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule, and the party beyond 2023.”
“I will continue to rally support for the party after 2023.”
“And, by God’s special grace, APC will continue to win beyond 2023,” he said.
Jatau praised the governor for his efforts to improve the state’s infrastructure.
“I would like to commend His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule, on his purposeful and inclusive governance in the state.”
“His Excellency’s developmental strides have positively impacted and continue to impact the lives of the people of the state.”
“I want to assure His Excellency of our state’s total support for him beyond 2023,” he added.
Sule was also thanked by Jatau for appointing one of his constituents, Mr Maikasuwa Audu, as his Personal Assistant (PA).
As a result, he urged the people of the state to continue their support for the governor beyond 2023.
Furthermore, the lawmaker urged the people of the state to continue to follow the law, respect established authorities, live in peace, and tolerate one another in order for development to thrive.
Mamman responded by thanking the Jatau and Eggon communities in the area for their visit.
He urged them to continue to support the current APC administration at all levels in order to reap more democratic dividends.
The APC chairman also urged the Eggon people to unite, embrace peace, and tolerate one another regardless of their affiliations in the interests of the state and the country as a whole.
