Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has paid a condolence visit to Sen. Rabi’u Musa-Kwankwaso, a former governor of the state, following the death of his brother, Inuwa Musa-Kwankwaso.
Musa-Kwankwaso received Ganduje and his political aides at his residence in Bampai, Kano, on Tuesday.
Among those accompanying the governor were the governor’s chief of staff, commissioners, party leaders, and top government officials.
The governor prayed to Allah, the Almighty, to forgive the deceased’s flaws and to grant the family the strength to bear the loss.
Following the arrival of the governor and his entourage, Kwankwaso invited Ganduje to the grave of his late father, Musa Saleh-Kwankwaso, which was located within the residence, where another special prayer was offered.
Islamic clerics also prayed for the repose of the deceased’s souls.
Musa-Kwankwaso expressed gratitude to the governor for his visit.
The governor also paid a similar visit to the bereaved families in Kwankwaso, Madobi Local Government Area.
