American Corner, a United States Consulate initiative in partnership with Pelse consulting, have unveiled an accelerator programme for 50 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Q1, 2022.
The Managing Partner, Pelse Consulting, Mr Oluwafemi Boboye, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos.
Boboye stated that the programme which would cover all spheres of entrepreneurship would offer a great opportunity for SMEs to add value to their businesses.
He noted that the programme would engage 50 registered/licensed SMEs from all sectors operating within Lagos and Ogun states.
He added that selected participants would be guided and provided with tools to help design strategies for their businesses’ growth in the new year.
“It is important that SMEs are armed with what constitutes a successful business, pitfalls to avoid when running a business, and follow through with strategic planning designed with a case study review.
“The program which would be for 50 participants is open to new and existing business owners especially, young entrepreneurs.
“The SMEs would be taught to develop winning strategies to achieve goals, given clarifications on aligning personal goals with corporate ones, effective communication mechanisms among others.
“The SMEs should have their Minimum Viable Product designed or have existing products/services with proven traction.
“They will fall into either of the two groups: Start-ups or Growing businesses in need of an accelerator,” he said
