50-year-old woman docked for allegedly forging employer’s bank receipt

A 50-year-old woman, Ayaga Bolanle, was on Friday docked in an Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun for allegedly forging bank receipt belonging to her employer.

Bolanle, whose address was not provided, is charged with -count charge of stealing and forgery.
The Prosecution Counsel, Insp E.O.Adaraloye, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Jan. 4,at about 7.30 a.m. in Ota.
Adaraloye said the offence contravened the provisions of sections 467 and 516 of the Criminal Code,Vol.1,Laws of Ogun,2006.
The defendant  pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Magistrate A.O. Adeyemi admitted the defendant to N500,000 bail with two sureties in like sum.
Adeyemi adjourned the case until Feb. 21 for further hearing.
