Immediate past Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, former governor of Kwara, Alhaji Abdulfattah Ahmed, and former Minister of Youths and Sports, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, led the pack of dignitaries that graced the event.
The emir said the Tafida of Ilorin was bestowed on Baraje in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the emirate.
The traditional ruler urged the new Tafida not to relent in contributing to the development of the emirate and beyond.
Responding, Baraje thanked the emir for finding him worthy of honor.
He expressed delight at the recognition of his modest contributions to the development of Ilorin, which he noted earned him the award.
He pledged to continue to impact the community and the people of Ilorin.
